Poisonous If Eaten Raw by Alyda Faber

Poetry Month is drawing to a close, but that doesn’t mean we should stop enjoying and highlighting our favourite poetry and poets! Coming up May 13, 2021, at 8 PM (ADT), we will be hosting the virtual book launch of Alyda Faber’s latest poetry collection Poisonous If Eaten Raw. This event will feature a reading by the poet, a conversation with Jody Clarke, and a Q&A.

To tide you over until the big day, we wanted to share a few bonus readings by the poet herself. While you’re listening, hold onto any questions that bubble to the surface. You’ll have a chance to ask the poet during the Q&A at her book launch. Register for the free event by clicking here and enjoy the readings!

"The cumulative miracle of this book is nothing short of a complex maternal absence made present — unretouched, tense, triumphantly seen." — Julie Bruck
