Two Goose Lane Authors at Frye Festival

Posted by Goose Lane Editions on

We are over the moon excited to tell you that Dominique Bernier-Cormier and Amy Spurway will be at the Frye Festival on Saturday, May 4th, 2019.

Spurway will be discussing the intersection of fact and fiction in her novel Crow at Literary Lunch: Women Writing Memoirs. She’ll be joined by Glynnis MacNicol, who will discuss her life experiences of focusing on herself instead of following traditional female roles.

“Since it’s my first time attending, I’m most excited to just soak up the vibe of the Frye Festival. I’m looking forward to connecting with readers, learning from and about fellow writers, and immersing myself in the celebration of stories,” Spurway says.

Bernier-Cormier will be reading from his poetry collection Correspondent at Tea & Poetry. He will be joined by poets Allan Cooper and Dani Couture.

“As a bilingual poet who writes and reads in both French and English, I'm very excited to attend a festival where both literary communities are featured side by side and get the opportunity to engage with each other,” Bernier-Cormier says.
