With a long weekend around the corner — and a whole season of perfect hiking weather after that — there’s still plenty of time to get out on the trails.
Browse our complete trail guide collection and take advantage of the best trails in your area. Discover magnificent waterfalls with Waterfalls of Nova Scotia and Waterfalls of New Brunswick, and enjoy short urban trails to full-day wilderness excursions with Hiking Trails of Ottawa, The National Capital Region, and Beyond — complete with a few mid-winter hikes, this guide will carry you through the season and then some!
For the Frederictonian — or anyone coming for a visit! — Bill Thorpe’s Trails of Fredericton is a perfect companion. Of course, Michael Haynes’s The Best of The Great Trail volumes 1 and 2 can take you as far away from home as you’d like. The Great Trail is the longest hiking and cycling trail in the world, spanning the entirety of Canada. No one’s saying you have to do it all, but if you do, we definitely want to hear about it.
