Authors for Indies Day is an annual event held at independent bookstores (indies) all across Canada. On April 29, Canadian authors will show their appreciation for indie bookstores by volunteering as guest booksellers.

Here is a list of all known Goose Lane Editions authors participating: 

• Lindy Mechefske, author of Sir John's Table, at Beggars Banquet Books (Gananoque, ON) from 1-3 PM

• Jared Young, author of Into the Current, at Octopus Books (Ottawa, ON), reading begins at 3:30 PM

• Christian Fink-Jensen, co-author of Aloha Wanderwell, at Munro's Books (Victoria, BC) from 12-2 PM

• Randolph Eustace-Walden, co-author of Aloha Wanderwell, at 32 Books & Gallery (North Vancouver, BC) from 11-1 PM 

• Michelle Butler Hallett, author of This Marlowe, at Broken Books (St. John's, NL) from 11-12 PM

• Pauline Holdstock, author of The Hunter and the Wild Girl, at Munro's Books (Victoria, BC) from 12-2 PM

• Gerry Fostaty, author of As You Were, at A Novel Spot Bookshop (Toronto, ON) from 3:30-4:30 PM
